Solvent-Based Leveling Agent D358NR 
(Similar to BYK-358N)

  •  Introduction
  • D358NR is a new-generation polymerization type leveling agent, when used in solvent-based coatings and inks it can prevent the leveling and shrinkage problem caused by surface tension difference. Compared with traditional leveling agents, it has following features:
  • 1. improve leveling, eliminate shrinkage and orange peel;
  • 2. improve the gloss and brightness;
  • 3. along with defoaming function;
  • 4. wet the pigment box bottom material;
  • 5. enhance the adhesive force between materials;
  • 6. good compatibility with resins.

  • Application Areas
  • D358NR applicates widely in all kinds of self dry coatings, baking paints, solvent-based systems and complex materials, including not only following areas:
  • 1. volume just paint and can coating
  • 2. two-component polyurethane varnish
  • 3. amino industrial paint
  • 4. UV-curable coatings
  • 5. glass fiber wetting and avoiding the separation
  • 6. car coatings

  • For different purposes, the recommended additive amount is 0.3-1.5% of the total amount.
