DISP2150 is a polymeric dispersant widely used in polyurethane surface printing ink systems, especially in nc systems, where it exhibits excellent grinding and dispersing effects on carbon black and organic pigments. It is highly versatile and has a very good viscosity-reducing effect
Physics and Chemical Properties:
Non-volatile components:98±2%
Appearance: Yellow viscous liquid
Density:1.06g/cm3
Boiling point:﹥250℃
Flash point: 82℃
Application System:
1. Dispersing and grinding carbon black and organic pigments in industrial paint systems;
2. Dispersing and grinding carbon black and organic pigments in various ink systems, especially surface printing polyurethane ink systems;
3. Grinding and dispersing pigments in polyether/polyester polyol color paste systems;
4. Preparation of unsaturated resin color pastes;
Dosage and Method:
Additive dosage as supplied based on pigment:
Organic pigment: 7-15%
Low surface carbon black: 10-20%
Low surface carbon black: 50-80%
The above recommended levels can be used for orientation. Optimal levels are determined through a series of laboratory tests. In order to obtain the best performance, the additive must be well mixed with the abrasive before adding the pigment.
