Product Overview

Defoamer D2033R is a specialized silicone foam-breaking substance solution designed for solvent-based systems. Comparable to BYK-141, EFKA-2038, and TEGO-962, it effectively eliminates pinholes and foam defects generated during the processing, application, and transportation of paints and inks.

Method of Addition

Add directly and disperse in the system at high speed, or dilute with solvent before addition. The system viscosity should be similar to that of the defoamer for optimal dispersion.

Recommended Dosage

Depending on the specific application, the recommended dosage is 0.1% to 0.8% of the total formulation weight.

Packaging and Storage

Available in 25 KG or 180 KG iron drums.

Store in the unopened original package at a temperature between 5 °C and 30 °C. The shelf life is one year. After expiration, the product must be re-evaluated before use.
