UV Resistant Epoxy Curing Agent DH-3239 Hardener

DH-3239 helps outdoor epoxy coatings hold their color and gloss under prolonged sunlight. The cycloaliphatic structure limits photo-degradation, delaying chalking and yellowing on exterior floors, terraces and architectural surfaces. Combined with water spot resistance, it suits open-air installations in sunny climates.

The recommended ratio is 100 parts liquid epoxy resin to 50 parts DH-3239 by weight when the resin EEW is about 190 g/eq. Adjust proportionally for resins with different epoxy equivalent weights.

How long is the pot life of DH-3239 at 25℃?

The usable time of a 100g mix is around 30-50 minutes at 25℃. For large-area projects, prepare material in smaller batches to stay within the open time.

Can DH-3239 be used in self-leveling floor coating systems?

Yes. Its viscosity of 300-500 mPa﹥s allows excellent flow and leveling, producing smooth, bubble-free surfaces in self-leveling epoxy floors. It is one of the most common uses of this hardener.
