Heat Resistant Phenolic Novolac Semi Solid Epoxy Resin NPPN-638S

1, General Description
NPPN-638S is an advanced phenolic novolac-based multifunctional epoxy resin engineered for applications demanding exceptional thermal stability. The resin features an epoxy equivalent weight range of 190-210 g/eq, delivering enhanced crosslink density after cure. When cured with appropriate hardeners such as aromatic amines or anhydrides, NPPN-638S achieves a glass transition temperature exceeding 180C, making it far more heat resistant than conventional BPA-based epoxy systems. Each molecule contains an average of 3.8 epoxy functional groups, enabling a highly crosslinked three-dimensional network with outstanding dimensional stability under thermal cycling. The tight network structure also provides exceptional resistance to aggressive chemicals including concentrated sulfuric acid, sodium hydroxide, and chlorinated solvents, making NPPN-638S a versatile solution for the most demanding industrial environments.

4, Application:
NPPN-638S is developed for applications where sustained thermal performance is critical:
1. Aerospace: carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) components for engine nacelles and interior structural panels.
2. Automotive: under-hood composite parts including valve covers and intake manifolds operating above 150C.
3. Electronics: high-reliability PCBs for servers, telecom infrastructure, and EV power modules.
4. Industrial: structural adhesives for oil and gas downhole tools, chemical processing equipment linings, and high-temperature molding compounds.


5. Civil engineering structural reinforcement and concrete repair.
6. Industrial grade bulk supply, 220kg/drum packaging. 5, Storage properties:

Product may cause skin and eye irritation. In cases of skin contact wash immediately with soap and water. For eyes, flush with plenty of water for 15 minutes and seek medical attention immediately.
