ASTRA LA 801 is a solution of a organomodified polysiloxane with high molecular weight. It provides
good leveling and efficiently prevents foam formation. It provides to the coating mar resistance and
improves performance of the coating. ASTRA LA 801 is suitable for systems exposed to high
temperature. Due to high compatibility of the additive it is suitable for clear systems.

ASTRA LA 801 is suitable for solvent-borne and UV curable coating systems.

Usually, it is possible to introduce the additive at a random stage during the manufacture with 0.1% to
1% dosage upon total formulation.
