ASTRA LA 501 is a polyether modified polysiloxane. It has excellent compatibility with most paint
resins and has no negative influence on recoatability. It provides excellent leveling and low foam
stabilization in solvent-borne systems. ASTRA LA 501 is particularly suitable for epoxy flooring
systems.

ASTRA LA 501 could be used in solvent-borne, water-borne and UV curable coating systems.

Usually, it is possible to introduce the additive at a random stage during the manufacture with 0.1% to
1% dosage upon total formulation.
