DISP 3506 Block Copolymer with Acidic Groups High Molecular Weight Polymer Dispersant

It has excellent wetting ability and could act as anti-settling agent. ASTRA DISP 3506 could significantly decrease the viscosity and improve dispersing of inorganic pigments and fillers. It is particularly effective in dispersion of titanium dioxide in pastes with high pigment content. It also provides great anti-flocculation properties to the pigment paste and so improve storage stability.

• DISP 3506 is suitable for systems with various polarity. But it is particularly suitable for medium- and high-polarity systems such as SMC, BMC. It could advance wetting and dispersing of pigments and fillers, decrease the viscosity of the system, improve the fluidity and shorten the dispersing time.
• DISP 3506 contains acidic pigment affinity groups, so it wouldn't react with the acid catalyst in coil coating systems and affect the appearance.

DISP 3506 is suitable for all solvent-borne systems. Usually, it is recommended to introduce the additive before the dispersion stage
during the manufacture with 2% to 4% dosage upon TiO2 and with 1% to 5% dosage upon other inorganic pigment.
