This product is an electric neutral salt of organic acid and organic amine. It is used for dispersing pigments and fillers in paints and inks, shortening and preventing defects such as poor gloss, floating color and blooming caused by poor dispersion.

Third, Characteristics

The dispersing agent D-106 has low acidity and is especially suitable for pigment and filler mixing systems of complex coatings.

The dispersing agent D-106 can ionize itself into charged groups with various structures, improve the wettability of pigment, protect a certain amount of volume and chain length, and prevent the pigment and filler from congealing due to the bottom sinking.

It can be compounded with organic silicone oil and has better anti floating color and blooming effect.

Dispersant D-106 has certain anti sedimentation effect, especially with the use of organo bentonite, which has good synergistic effect and produces excellent pre gel.

Alkyd paint, acrylic paint, nitrocellulose paint, phenolic paint, chlorinated rubber paint, epoxy paint, amino paint, polyurethane paint, polyester paint, etc.

Fifth,How to use it

Adding sequence: base material, D-106 dispersant and filler were dispersed and ground by dispersion grinding equipment.

When high shear dispersion equipment such as sand mill is used, the strong shearing effect should be prevented. The dispersant D-106 on the surface of the pigment should be wiped off, and then it should be stirred again after grinding to ensure its uniform dispersion.

Excessive addition of dispersant D-106 may lead to defects in fluidity, and the addition of drier may lead to the extension of drying time. A small amount of solvent such as butanol and glycolether can be added, and an appropriate amount of drier can be added.

Sixth, Dosage

Pigment and filler: 0.3-1.5%

When used for carbon black dispersion, it can be selected between 10-50% of carbon black content.
