VESTAMIN IPD is a cycloaliphatic diamine based on isophorone chemistry, consisting of two stereo-isomers of 3-aminomethyl-3,5,5-trimethylcyclohexylamine. This colorless low viscosity liquid features a faint amine odor and is widely used in epoxy composite systems.

VESTAMIN IPD is used to produce hardeners for solventless, room temperature curing epoxies and as a hardener in heat cured epoxies.

VESTAMIN IPD is slightly hygroscopic and should be stored free from moisture and carbon dioxide in glass or stainless steel containers. Avoid aluminum containers. The product crystallizes below 15°C and should be warmed to a maximum of 60°C and mixed thoroughly before use.
