(Analogue to BYK-057)

The coating defoamer D-057 is a non foaming polymer solution without silicone. It can be used as a standard defoamer in solvent coatings and inks. It can effectively prevent bubbles and bubbles in the production, packaging and construction of paints and inks. And has the following characteristics: fast defoaming, prevent foaming, good versatility, light color, re coating safety.

Fourth,Recommended dosage

In order to obtain sufficient defoaming effect, it is suggested to add defoamer D-057 in the grinding process, and the dosage is 0.1-0.5% of the total amount. If it is added in the later stage, enough shear force is needed to ensure good dispersion of D-057, so as to prevent shrinkage. Because of its strong immiscibility, the effect on transparency and shrinkage of varnish system must be evaluated.
