1, General Description
NPPN-638S is a high-purity electrical grade phenolic novolac epoxy resin specifically developed for demanding electrical insulation applications. Manufactured under tightly controlled conditions to minimize ionic impurities, this resin achieves volume resistivity consistently exceeding 10^16 ohm-cm and dielectric strength above 25 kV/mm, meeting the rigorous requirements of IEC 60455 for electrical insulating resins. The ultra-low hydrolyzable chlorine content and total ionic contamination below 50 ppm ensure exceptional long-term electrical stability under high humidity and elevated temperature conditions. NPPN-638S provides excellent thermal endurance with a temperature index exceeding 155C (Class F), making it suitable for modern compact electrical equipment where operating temperatures continue to rise with increasing power densities.

NPPN-638S is designed for electrical and electronic insulation:
1. Cast-resin dry-type distribution transformers.
2. Instrument transformers and voltage transformers.
3. Medium-voltage switchgear bushing insulation.
4. Generator and motor stator winding encapsulation.
5. High-voltage cable joint and termination compounds.
6. Composite insulators and surge arrester housings for railway electrification.


7. Transparent formulation option for visual inspection of encapsulated components.
8. High voltage bushing and insulator manufacturing for power transmission.
